A very major role of iTunes is acting as an interface between the computer and an iPod. Often when we connect the two, errors pop up on the screen. Most of these errors can easily be resolved, but in doing so, we tend to lose all the data stored in iTunes. This includes all the songs which were stored on it in addition as other things like videos, podcasts, playlists etc. As opposed to a shared misconception, all this data can be retrieved using an iPod recovery software.

– Reconnect to iTunes and then try restoring it again.

– Disable and permit the Disk Use and then restore it.

– Change the connection point (use a different USB port) and then try restoring it.

– Ensure that the only USB connected to the computer.

– Update/Restore the Windows USB excursion.

– Re-register.dll files in Windows.

Once you have been able to successfully restore, you can use an iPod recovery software to retrieve data. It is used to examine the hard disk and then retrieve data that has been deleted or lost. These software can be downloaded from the Internet.
