A lot of people struggle to be successful in network marketing because they miss the most crucial part of it.

You HAVE to build relationships. You can’t expect to jump online one morning and join a company and expect you to have ten people the first hour. This is course of action over time.
People have to gain your confidence and know that your there to help them when needed.

The first thing you need to do is find a good substantial company that will be around for many years to come. Don’t fall for the fly by night company with a horrible product. My main business deals in a $7 trillion industry and is worldwide.

Second you need to start building relationships with people either online or offline. Keep in mind that you don’t have to be big salesmen, but you need to be an inviter. One of the best things you can do is invite someone to listen to a conference call that your business holds. Yes I said “Your Business” you should always treat this as your business that will take time to build. You must stay focused and continue to market already when you’re not getting any results. It will happen for you with persistence.

Social networking sites are becoming one of the best ways to market your business. Posting blogs on your profile can grab a lot of readers and also show up on Google. You need to design a good page with good information and banners for you product but don’t leave out stuff about you. You need to search for friends to add. Start small talk conversations with these people though the sites messaging service to start building relationships. When you feel the time is right you should try to get them to join in on a conference call.

You don’t have to use a fortune to build your business although it does help to use a few bucks on advertising. Free advertising can be very effective. Places like Craigslist.org and other classified sites are great free places to advertise.

Don’t get sucked up in all the free programs that all you do is get free members and hope that they upgrade. The money is in the paid programs. You will have a much better chance at getting a heavy hitter to join under you in a paid program.

Always Always Always make yourself obtainable, you should put your phone number on any blog that you do. I’ve gotten several new members because I posted my number. People want a good sponsor that they can contact when needed.

Most importantly stay focused on your business and don’t jump around to several different programs trying to find one that works. little by little building a second, third, or more businesses is OK but build one at a time. It’s always good to be diversified.
