Nick Cannon’s Five-Month-Old Son Dies Of Brain Cancer

American comedian Nick Cannon announced that his five-month-old Zen passed away due to brain cancer, on an episode of his show — The Nick Cannon Show today (7 December).

Zen Cannon, Nick Cannon’s youngest son, died of brain cancer. On June 23, Nick welcomed Zen with form Alyssa Scott. Zen was Nick’s fourth child in six months. His twins, Zillion and Zion, were born in June, and his daughter, Powerful, will be born in December 2020.

Zen always had a different way of breathing, the comedian said in an emotional episode of The Nick Cannon Show, but he didn’t think much of it at first, but doctors later discovered that fluid had been building in the back of his head. They discovered a malignant tumour and he needed surgery because it was cancer in the brain.

“Over the weekend, I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus…brain cancer. It’s tough. And I have my therapist here, who’s been helping us by it,” he said.

Nick explained that things began to deteriorate around Thanksgiving. Nick mentioned that he spent his last weekend in California and that he wanted to go to the beach. So he took Zen to the sea, and he died soon after.

“We got to use the weekend with him. I said I feel like I want to go to the water, to the ocean. I didn’t know I was going to manager today, but I just really wanted to grieve with my family and people who love me,” he said.

“I felt like I will go by it to grow by it, I have so much faith in the Lord and faith in God,” he continued.

The comedian stated that he was nevertheless preparing to fly back to New York for his show, but he was forced to return after arriving at the airport. “By the time I got in the car as it typically went, to come back and come back and say I didn’t know what it was going to be. But by the time I got in the car and was headed to the airport I had to turn around,” he additional.
